1. Scope and use
These terms govern RingSplode, provided by OrionWavesStudio. Use the app lawfully and respect other people’s rights. It is not intended for children under 13. If you disagree with these terms, stop using the app. Mandatory consumer rights remain applicable.
2. Simulations and permitted features
You may customise and rehearse simulated incoming calls, launch simulations through the available app controls and create schedules or character sequences within the limits of your access. All simulated ringing occurs on your own device. The characters, caller names and numbers shown by the app do not authenticate a real caller.
Availability depends on your device, Android version, permissions and app settings. Rehearsals are excluded from the app’s simulation history and statistics. A scheduled simulation is not a guaranteed alert.
3. Responsible use and retained audio files
Do not use the app for harassment, threats, fraud, harmful impersonation, interference with emergency calls or other unlawful conduct. Do not present a simulated call as proof of a real call or official identity.
From version 2.2.2, microphone recording, shake triggers and screen on/off triggers are no longer available. Audio files created with the former Witness feature may remain locally after an update. You remain responsible for handling or sharing those files lawfully and respecting the rights of the people concerned. Retaining a file does not guarantee its admissibility as evidence.
4. Free access and lifetime Premium
Free access has feature and capacity limits and may show ads. Premium is a one-time, lifetime in-app purchase through Google Play, without a recurring subscription or scheduled expiry. The price and currency shown by Google Play before confirmation apply.
Temporary access earned through a rewarded ad is separate from a purchased Premium entitlement and may expire at the time shown in the app. It does not convert into an automatic paid subscription.
Restore purchases with the Google account used to buy Premium. Restoration requires Google Play purchase verification. A refund or purchase revocation can remove the corresponding entitlement. Technical changes, permissions and device compatibility may affect individual features; no perpetual operating-system support is promised.
Refunds, cancellation rights and legal guarantees are governed by applicable law and the Google Play refund policies. Using the app does not automatically remove your statutory rights. Contact Google Play or OrionWavesStudio if a purchase fails or access is missing.
5. Device limitations and reliability
Battery restrictions, background limits, notification settings, full-screen access, Do Not Disturb, audio routing and reboot behaviour can prevent or delay a simulation. Test your chosen settings on your device before relying on them. The vocal countdown depends on supported Android versions and a verified private audio output.
RingSplode is for entertainment and personal simulations, not emergency assistance. Do not rely on it as your sole way to obtain help or avoid danger.
6. Content and privacy
You remain responsible for names, photos, audio and scripts you import or share and must have the rights needed to use them. App code, branding and original assets belong to OrionWavesStudio or the relevant rights holders. Third-party components remain governed by their licences. Restrictions do not override uses permitted by mandatory law.
See our Privacy Policy for local storage, Google services, permissions, advertising choices and deletion. Premium removes ads, but does not by itself disable Firebase analytics or diagnostics.
7. Liability and statutory rights
To the extent allowed by law, OrionWavesStudio is not responsible for losses caused by unlawful misuse, user-supplied content or events outside its reasonable control. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation on every device.
Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory warranties, consumer remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
8. Updates and applicable law
These terms may be updated to reflect changes to the app or applicable requirements. The current date appears above; changes do not remove acquired statutory rights or replace any agreement required by law.
French law applies subject to any mandatory protections available under the law of your country of residence. Disputes may be brought before the courts competent under applicable rules; these terms do not impose exclusive French jurisdiction on consumers.
