ASCEND ("the App") is developed by OrionWavesStudio. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We comply with the GDPR and applicable data protection laws.
Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and Google profile picture. This information is used solely to identify your account and personalize your experience.
Mood and wellness data: Your mood entries, energy levels, notes, and daily logs are stored locally on your device (Room database) and synchronized to Firebase Firestore when you are signed in, in order to back up and restore your data across devices.
Gamification data: Your XP, level, badges, streak, prestige history, and routine completions are stored locally and synchronized to the cloud as part of your account.
Technical information: Standard analytics data such as device model, OS version, and app version may be collected through Firebase Analytics to improve performance and stability.
We never collect your location, contacts, photos, financial information, or any data unrelated to your use of ASCEND. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for advertising purposes.
Your account and wellness data are used exclusively to: display your mood history and progress within the app, synchronize your data across your devices, power the gamification system (XP, levels, badges, prestige), and restore your account if you reinstall the app.
Firebase (Google LLC): Used for Google Sign-In authentication, Firestore database synchronization, and Analytics. Firebase's privacy policy is available at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Google Play Billing: Used to process the Premium purchase. Payment data is handled exclusively by Google and is never accessible to OrionWavesStudio.
Your data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from within the app (Account screen → Delete Account) or by contacting us. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all local data.
If you are located in the European Economic Area, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, you may use the in-app account management tools or contact us directly at the address below.
ASCEND is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
